DocDecoder helps you understand confusing documents using AI. Upload a PDF, and we generate a simple, plain-English explanation that highlights key terms and potential concerns.
How to Use DocDecoder
Step 1 — Choose a Document Type
You can interpret:

Step 2 — Upload Your Document

Step 3 — Let the AI Process It
This takes between 5–20 seconds depending on:

- • Plan type (Free or Pro)
Step 4 — Read Your Results
You will see:

- • Red flags Pro only
Step 5 — Save or Revisit
- • Free users can view last 3 results
- • Pro users have unlimited history

No. DocDecoder provides AI-generated explanations for educational purposes only. It does not replace a licensed attorney.
Is my data safe?
Yes. Documents are stored securely in Supabase. You may delete them at any time.
Can I delete my files?
Yes — go to your document history and click the trash icon next to any document you want to remove.
Why are my results different each time?
AI can vary slightly per request. Pro uses a more consistent and accurate model.
Can I interpret scanned PDFs?
Yes, as long as the text is readable via OCR.
Troubleshooting
"My document failed to upload."
- • Ensure the file is a PDF
- • Try renaming the file (remove special characters)
"My analysis is incomplete or missing fields."
- • Some documents have poor formatting
- • Try a cleaner scan
- • Try the Pro model for deeper extraction
"The results don't make sense."
- • Try re-uploading
- • AI may struggle with handwritten or poorly scanned documents
